القائمة بأعمال السفارة الأمريكية تلبي دعوة إفطار

لبت القائمة بالأعمال لوسي تاملين وزوجها وأعضاء آخرين من موظفي السفارة دعوة إفطار مقدمه من قبل عائلة أحمد البدوي في منزلهم بأم درمان.

حيث استمتع الوفد بالضيافة السودانية والروح الرمضانية الفريده مع العائلة والأصدقاء.

تعليقا علي الأمسية الجميلة ، عبرت إحداهن قائلة ، “لقد سمعت الكثير عن رمضان من زملائي الأمريكيين والسودانيين قبل وصولي إلى الخرطوم ، ولكن ما رأيناه اليوم مميز للغاية وأكثر مما كنت أتخيل “.

كما عبرت السفيرة تاملين عن امتنانها وزميلاتها علي العطور والتياب التي قدمتها لهم العائلة .

Chargé d’Affaires Lucy Tamlyn, her husband, and other members of the Embassy team were delighted to break the fast at an Iftar hosted by the Ahmed Al-Badawi family at their home in Omdurman. The team enjoyed Sudanese hospitality and the special spirit of Ramadan with the family and friends. “I had heard a lot from my American and Sudanese colleagues about Ramadan before I arrived in Khartoum, what we saw today is very special and more than I could have imagined,” remarked one.

Ambassador Tamlyn and the team were very grateful for the Toub and Sudanese perfumes given to them by the family.
